Argentina has introduced a “reciprocity tax” only for Americans, Canadians and Australians to enter the country. The tax is based on the cost Argentineans have to pay to apply for a visa – USA $131. Brazil, Paraguay, Chile and Bolivia are other South American nations that charge U.S. visitors reciprocity visa fees.
