Flamenco's Blue Side

Linsey A. Daman, Director, presented “Flamenco Fusion” on Tue. Apr. 24^th 2012.  This program showcases how blue and other colors can be used in place of the stereotypical red/black toreador Flamenco colors.  Linsey adds her own personal touches of “blue water” to help cool down this hot fiery dance from Spain.

CAC St. Louis, LLC hosted an "Easter Egg Crafting Event" on Saturday of Easter Weekend 2012. We had a marvelous turn-out with 51 children.

Flamenco Fusion – Gypsy Style

Creolization of the Bayou 2012

Tue. Feb. 28^th – Linsey A. Daman, Artistic Director, Cultural Arts Center of St. Louis, LLC presented “Creolization of the Bayou” for Black History Month. The picture below demonstrates Linsey speaking about the slave trade and how different aspects of African religions came to the New World. The second picture is showing modern day New Orleans and the creolization we have witnessed in the Bayou.

Tropical Christmas Brought to St. Louis

Artistic Director, Linsey A. Daman explains holiday advertising and Christmas marketing techniques found commonly in French culture. The basis of this lecture was about the French Caribbean and how Christmas/Seasonal Holidays are a part of their culture and religion.
