Creolization of the Bayou 2012
Tue. Feb. 28th – Linsey A. Daman, Artistic Director, Cultural Arts Center of St. Louis, LLC presented “Creolization of the Bayou” for Black History Month. The picture below demonstrates Linsey speaking about the slave trade and how different aspects of African religions came to the New World. The second picture is showing modern day New Orleans and the creolization we have witnessed in the Bayou.
